How can Coaching help me?
A Coach works in partnership with you to identify what you desire, find your core values and highest goals, encourages you to take action and empowers you to achieve success.
Who can benefit from Coaching?
Everyone can benefit from a co-active coaching relationship. Wholistic Life and Wellness Coaching can help with all aspects of your life: family, career, finances, relationships, living environment, health, wellness and spirituality. Whether your intention is to achieve a specific goal, find a career direction, change unproductive habits, learn specific life skills or shift your perspective on life, Coaching can help you achieve your goals faster.
Why can't I do that by myself?
Maybe you can. Most people, however, find that there is at least one area of their life where they don't seem to be getting where they desire to be. They seem to find themselves "stuck" and unable to move due to time constraints, lack of confidence, lack of direction, or just not knowing how to start. Often, they have already made significant changes, but have reached a plateau and are ready to begin moving forward again. Other people find that they have been very successful in one area of life, and are now interested in turning their attention to develop other areas. Whatever the reason, you are valuable and you deserve to have a professional committed to your success.

How is Coaching different than Therapy?
Coaching focuses on your agenda for the future. The Coaching relationship provides the guidance, support and accountability for you to identify desires, create goals and take action toward accomplishing those goals. Coaching focuses on where you are right now, where you are going and how to get there. Coaching focuses more on actions, strengths and values and less on emotional states of being. Coaching uses emotions as indicators of whether or not your values, thinking, actions and goals are in alignment. Coaching is less dependent on in-person interaction, so it often takes place on the telephone, making it more convenient.
Psychotherapy helps people sort out past experiences and emotions in order to heal life's hurts. It may involve painful remembrances, and have goals of emotional healing, exploring complicated family dynamics, or resolving difficulties in relationships. Therapy usually takes place in a therapist's office.
